Lazio extended its Serie A winning streak to four matches following the key 1-0 win over Verona. It seemed at one point that Lazio was going to settle for the draw result in the match, but a late Sergej Milinkovic-Savic goal proved to be the decider as the side picked up yet another key league win.
Lazio goalkeeper Pepe Reina was not put to the test much over the match as he did not record a save against Verona. Nonetheless, he did watch just how arduous it became for his teammates to record high percentage goal-scoring chances over the match.
