Professor Francesco Vaia highlighted that Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi’s wife Gaia Lucariello will be able to leave the hospital soon.
Inzaghi, his two sons and his wife Gaia all tested positive for Covid-19 last week and have been self-isolating at home. Gaia was forced to require treatment at the hospital over the last few days due to complications from the virus, as was former Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi.
Professor Vaia, who is the medical director of the ‘Lazzaro Spallanzani’ hospital in Rome, gave an update on De Rossi and Gaia’s condition when speaking to Gr Parlamento (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.
Daniele De Rossi is fine, as is Simone Inzaghi’s wife. In the next few days they will be able to go home.
They needed hospitalization but they are two young people and the illness was caught in time, so they managed to beat it quite quickly.
When you catch it in time it is quickly defeated and there is no need for hospitalization anymore.
