Lazio defender Stefan Radu was the key man in the Biancocelesti’s important 1-0 win over Hellas Verona yesterday.
As seen in a post on Romanian Football’s Twitter page yesterday, the 34-year-old Romanian defender had a Man of the Match performance against the Gialloblu, being a rock in coach Simone Inzaghi’s defense.
Not only did Radu provide the assist for Serbian star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the dying minutes of the match, but he also was key in the transition aspect of the game.
The 34-year-old Radu took 55 touches, completed 38 out of 44 passes (86% completion), made two key passes and seven accurate long balls.
Radu also shone in the defensive stats, winning three out of four ground duels, two aerial duels, blocking one shot and committing two clean tackles.
The 34-year-old Romanian defender’s contract with the Biancocelesti expires at the end of the season, but the player is keen to continue his adventure with Lazio a little longer.
