Lazio midfielder Gonzalo Escalante says he is well pleased with his current first season with the Biancocelesti.
Escalante has been relied on as a key depth player for Lazio so far this season. The Argentine midfielder has totaled for 21 appearances in Serie A play this season with only four of them coming as starts.
Nonetheless, Escalante is much satisfied with how the first season of his Lazio run has gone so far, which he detailed further during his talk with Boca Juniors’ ‘El Canal del Boca’ show on Youtube.
I am very happy here in Lazio. It’s a beautiful club, and Rome is a wonderful city. I’m working step by step to make my dream come true.
I’m here with Correa and Musacchio. Mateo played for River so we also talk about Argentine soccer and, of course, Boca.
Escalante is currently averaging 1.1 tackles per game in league play this season.
