Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s goals this season have secured 11 points for the Biancocelesti, the second-best in the Roman squad.
According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder is an incredibly important part of coach Simone Inzaghi’s squad, being irreplaceable this season.
Milinkovic-Savic has scored seven goals and provided eight assists so far this campaign, matching his season’s best goal contributions with the Biancocelesti.
His goals this season have brought the Biancocelesti 11 points, with only Italian striker Ciro Immobile’s goals bringing home more points with 14.
Big clubs around Europe are starting to pay attention to Milinkovic-Savic again, but the 26-year-old seems content in Rome for now and is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024.
Milinkovic-Savic has been a key player for Inzaghi’s side for some time now but this season Lazio’s dependence on the player has become even more apparent.
