Lazio have opened talks with Empoli left-back Fabiano Parisi’s agents ahead of a possible summer move.
According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the Biancocelesti have been following the 20-year-old Italian and had the opportunity to sign him last summer on a free transfer, but decided to go for a more experienced option in Mohamed Fares.
The Algerian has failed to live up to expectations this season, and with Senad Lulic set to retire at the end of the campaign, it’s clear that a new left-wing back is required in the summer.
The 20-year-old Parisi has impressed this season with Empoli in Serie B, having made 18 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign, for a total of 1399 minutes. He’s scored one goal and provided two assists in this time.
Valued at around €5 million, as Lazio have already opened talks with Parisi’s agents, they could look to invest in the Italian youngster this summer.
