Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare Closely Following Promising Lecce Left-Back

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is closely following Lecce left-back Antonino Gallo for a possible summer move.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti’s main objective this summer is to rejuvenate the squad with promising young players, looking to start a new cycle under coach Simone Inzaghi.

Tare has been following Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi, a 20-year-old Italian left-back, for some time now and has also added Lecce’s Gallo to this list.

The Albanian sporting director has already completed a deal for 20-year-old Serbian left-back Dimitrije Kamenović, who is set to arrive in the summer.

The 21-year-old Gallo has broken into the Lecce first team this season, making 14 appearances in Serie B from the start of 2021 onwards, with his strong performances already earning him a consistent starting spot.

Lazio’s left wing-back position clearly needs some attention this summer, with Bosnian veteran Senad Lulic set to leave and Mohamed Fares failing to live up to expectations.
