Bologna midfielder Roberto Soriano confirmed that he has not been in contact with Lazio lately.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti have been linked with the 30-year-old Italian midfielder in recent weeks, but in an interview today he suggested that nothing concrete has taken place so far.

Lazio’s offer for me? The truth is different, I’ve never heard from anyone.

The 30-year-old Italian then touched on whether he could be a star player for Bologna.

It’s a nice thought, as well as an idea with important implications.

If I’ve reached certain peaks of performance and achievement, I owe it also to Bologna. So why not? I’d like to.

Soriano, who is contracted to the Rossoblu until 2023, has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2833 minutes. In that time, he has scored nine goals and provided eight assists.
