Lazio have highlighted VfB Stuttgart’s Marc-Oliver Kempf on their radar as they look to strengthen their defense this summer.
According to a report from German media outlet Kicker earlier today, the 26-year-old German defender’s contract expires with Stuttgart next summer and talks between the player and club regarding a new contract have been fractured for some time now, with it now likely that he’ll be sold in the summer.

The 26-year-old Kempf has made 30 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Stuttgart, for a total of 2565 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals, provided one assist and helped the side keep seven clean sheets.

Lazio are looking to reinforce their defense this summer and have now added Kempf to their list of possible options.
They will face competition from fellow German side Eintracht Frankfurt, who are also keen. Kempf is a youth product of Frankfurt and joined the club when he was 12, leaving in 2014.
