Lazio Have Earnt the Most Points Thanks to Substitutes in Serie A This Season

Lazio have earnt the most points thanks to goals from their substitutes this season in Serie A.

According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti’s substitutes this season have helped the side earn nine points in total, the most out of all the teams in the league.

One of the key players in this regard is Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo, who has scored four from the bench so far this campaign, the most as a substitute in Serie A alongside Napoli’s Matteo Politano and Atalanta’s Luis Muriel.

In addition, coach Simone Inzaghi is the coach who has made the most changes in the league so far this season, 144 in total, tied with Spezia’s Vincenzo Italiano. Atalanta have seen their substitutes score the most goals in general from the bench, 13 in total.

Inzaghi has shown the team that remaining motivated and never giving up in a game is key, and his usage of substitutes shows his belief until the end.
