Lazio U19 picked up a thrilling win over Verona U19 in the Primavera Cup semifinals. The side now will be taking on Fiorentina U19 in the final later this season.
For Lazio U19 midfielder Szymon Czyz, it was a monumental win for his team considering that it came back from down 2-0 in the first half.
Czyz spoke following the match (via Lazio’s official website) on the season-defining win for his side and the motivation to win the tournament for Daniel Guerini, who was killed last month after being involved in a fatal car accident.
