Lazio is set to face a notable roster turnaround over the upcoming summer transfer window. The Biancocelesti will have a number of dilemmas to resolve within its roster, including the future of Senad Lulic.
However, Lulic may have already come to a resolution on his footballing future with Lazio. As relayed by the Swiss-based outlet Sport.ch, Lulic wants to part ways from the Biancocelesti as a free agent over the upcoming summer window.
The report adds that Lulic would prefer to return to Switzerland to finish off his football career.
As mentioned, Lulic is slated to become a free agent at the end of the season. Thus, any clubs interested in signing the midfielder would not have to post a transfer fee to acquire him.
The 35-year-old midfielder has been with Lazio since 2011. Since then, he has gone on to amount for over 300 appearances in all competitions coupled with four trophy wins.
Lazio would certainly aim at finding an immediate replacement for Lulic if does go on to leave the club in the coming months.
