Lazio will look to take all three points when Benevento Calcio to the Stadio Olimpico. The Biancocelesti sit six points outside of fourth place, so coming away with a good result is almost mandatory at this point in the season.

Furthermore, Benevento sits in 16th place, so these are the type of opponents that Lazio needs to advantage of and can’t afford to come away with draws or, worst-case scenario, a loss.

The current manager of Bologna Primavera and former Lazio player Luciano Zauri spoke to Radiosei (via Lazio News) to talk about the upcoming matchup for Simone Inzaghi’s side.

One of the messages Zauri echoed for his former club is to grab all three points. The result doesn’t necessarily need to look pretty, but a win must be the outcome.

Lazio must secure as many points as possible, but be aware that it does not depend solely on them. They have to win almost all of their matches.

Benevento is doing well. They are a tough team that works very well and are in a desperate spot in the table. It will be a difficult match even if Lazio is superior; nothing can be taken for granted.

Furthermore, Zauri touched on Adam Marušić and his thoughts on the 28-year-old, whose form is peaking at the right time to help Lazio finish the season off strong.

Marušić? A brilliant player.
