Video: Nicolas Viola Converts Benevento’s Penalty Kick Chance to Cut Lazio’s Lead In Half

Despite Lazio having a commanding 4-1 lead, Benevento Calcio continues to hang around.

After scoring a goal heading into halftime, Video Assistant Referee would award Filippo Inzaghi’s side a penalty kick opportunity following a foul by Adam Marusic.

Nicolas Viola would step into the box to take the penalty kick, and the 31-year-old would convert the chance to cut Lazio’s lead in half.

The score is now 4-2 after this goal. Lazio will look to hang on to their lead and secure the three points.
