Formello: Lazio Striker Caicedo Re-Joins Squad Training Ahead of Napoli Clash

Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo re-joined squad training today after missing yesterday’s game against Benevento due to suspension.

According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the players who started against Benevento in yesterday’s 5-3 win remained in the gym today, working off the fatigue from the match.

The 32-year-old Caicedo returned to the pitch today after carefully managing his condition last week, training with his teammates before missing the final training match.

Danilo Cataldi, who was called up yesterday despite a muscle strain, was rested today, alongside Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro and Andreas Pereira.

It will be clear tomorrow which players will be able to face Napoli later this week, with coach Simone Inzaghi still needing to decide his starting 11.

Gonzalo Escalante suffered an injury on Saturday and wasn’t even on the bench for the win against Benevento, and today also missed training.

Primavera players Nicolò Cesaroni and Enzo Adeagbo also joined today’s session.
