Lazio’s win over Benevento yesterday was their ninth consecutive home victory, matching a record set in the 1949/50 season.
According to a tweet from stats provider OptaPaolo yesterday, the Roman club’s nine consecutive home wins matches their record from the 1949/50 season, when the Biancocelesti finished fourth in the league.

In that season, Lazio’s home winning streak started in January against Pro Patria and continued until the end of the season, with a 2-0 win against Venezia.

Lazio’s next game is away against Napoli later this week before they face AC Milan next Monday at home, where they can look to extend their home record.
