Ex-Coach Cagni: “Important Tests Against Napoli & AC Milan for Lazio, Pitch Doesn’t Lie”

Former Brescia defender and coach Gigi Cagni highlighted the importance of Lazio’s next two games.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 70-year-old Italian first spoke about the collapse of the Super League.

Ceferin called Agnelli a liar, Cairo called him a Judas. It all came about because they are all in a bad way economically, it could all be a strategy to get more money from UEFA.

Luckily, we won against arrogance and presumption.

Cagni then moved onto discussing the Biancocelesti’s next two games against Napoli and AC Milan.

These are the important tests against Napoli and Milan, if you deserve it, you’ll go to the Champions League, otherwise not. The pitch at this point of the season does not lie.

A win for the Biancocelesti tomorrow is incredibly important for the team’s top four hopes, with the Partenopei currently sitting two points ahead of the Roman club in 5th place, with them in turn being two points behind 4th place Juventus.
