Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi firmly believes that the Biancocelesti can achieve a top four finish this season and qualify for the Champions League.
According to a report from Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 33-year-old Italian defender knows that the Roman club can finish the season in 4th place and is keen to again compete in the Champions League.
Acerbi will start against the Partenopei tomorrow evening and will be looking to break a personal demon, the fact that he has never won away to Napoli in his career.
The former Sassuolo man, whose current contract expires with Lazio in 2023, is also likely to renew his contract with the club over the coming months, still being strongly invested in the Biancocelesti project.
The 33-year-old Acerbi has made 37 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 3268 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal, provided three assists and helped the side keep eight clean sheets.
