The pair spoke at length about Inzaghi’s new contract, which will tie him to the Biancocelesti until 2024. The conversation has been going on since last summer but finally an agreement has been reached, a relief for Lazio fans considering Inzaghi’s links with Napoli, amongst other clubs.

Lotito is waiting for Inzaghi’s return to Formello, hopefully before next week’s clash against AC Milan, where he will finally put pen to paper and sign the deal.
Inzaghi has been in charge of the Biancocelesti since 2016 and has guided the team to a Coppa Italia, two Supercoppa Italiana and a return to the Champions League.
