Lazio have joined Juventus and Napoli in the race to sign Santos talent Kaio Jorge and have reached an agreement with the Brazilian side.
According to a report from Italian broadcaster Sportitalia earlier today, the 19-year-old Brazilian forward has attracted the attention of many clubs in Europe due to the potential that he’s shown with Santos.
Lazio have reportedly reached an agreement with Santos for Kaio Jorge, with the deal costing €8 million with €4 million in add-ins.
Fellow Italian sides Juventus and Napoli are also linked with the Brazilian teenager, as well as Bayer Leverkusen and Benfica.
Last season for Santos, Kaio Jorge made 47 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 3146 minutes. In that time, he scored nine goals and provided one assist, with five of those goals coming in the Copa Libertadores.
The 19-year-old Brazilian’s contract expires with Santos at the end of this calendar year, allowing the Biancocelesti to carry out a low-cost deal.
