Milan Manager Stefano Pioli Comments on the Matchup Against Lazio

AC Milan is fighting to maintain their status in the top four as they currently sit three points away from fifth place Napoli, so a lot is riding for the Rossoneri as they look to secure three points against Lazio. 

Meanwhile, the Biancocelesti are looking to find their way into the top four as they sit five points from fourth place. Ahead of the matchup, Milan manager Stefano Pioli spoke to the media at a press conference to discuss the match against Lazio. 

Lazio News would relay the comments made by the Milan manager, as one of the first questions asked was about the matchup.

Pioli then transitioned to a question concerning the importance of AC Milan qualifying for the UEFA Champions League considering the Italian side’s financial boost should they qualify for the tournament. 

We can’t think like that, we don’t have to think in this direction. We have shown we are strong, but we have to do it until the end. I have always maintained that seven teams would have been fighting for the Champions League, the four that will get there will be satisfied, the others will be disappointed.
