Ex-Coach Stroppa: “Inzaghi Will Be the Sir Alex Ferguson of Lazio, He’s Doing Well”

Former Lazio and AC Milan midfielder Giovanni Stroppa thought that the Biancocelesti may struggle against the Rossoneri this evening.

Speaking in an interview with Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today, the 53-year-old Italian first touched on this evening’s game.

Lazio conceded five goals against Napoli, that can’t happen in a direct match. Even if the Azzurri are in great shape and are fighting for the Champions League.

Lazio-Milan will be a turning point for the Rossoneri. Milan are always at their best when they’re struggling.

Stroppa then discussed coach Simone Inzaghi’s contract renewal with the Roman club.

Simone will be the Sir Alex Ferguson of Lazio, he has a great relationship with the whole environment. And he’s doing well.

The 45-year-old Inzaghi is expected to sign a new contract with Lazio in the coming weeks, after finally reaching an agreement with president Claudio Lotito.
