There are not many teams currently in Europe’s top five leagues that are performing at a higher level at home than Lazio as of late.
The Biancocelesti kicked off the league campaign with a lowly five points recorded over its opening six home matches of the season. But as noted by Opta Paolo, Lazio has since reeled off 10 straight home league wins for just the third time in its storied history.
Lazio kicked off this impressive streak with a 2-0 win against Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico in December. The Biancocelesti has since picked up numerous convincing home league victories, such as a pair of 3-0 victories against long-time rivals AS Roma and top-four contenders AC Milan.
Lazio now has a mere two home matches remaining on its league schedule, which will come against Genoa and Parma.
This lengthy league home winning streak from Lazio is a key reason why the side is still vying for a spot in the top-four of the league standings.
