Lazio Wing-Back Fares: “I’ve Improved Technically Since Signing From SPAL”

Lazio wing-back Mohamed Fares noted the various ways he’s improved since joining the Biancocelesti last summer.

Commenting in today’s match programme (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) ahead of this evening’s clash against AC Milan, the 25-year-old Algerian first spoke about tonight’s game.

It will be a difficult game, where we will have to fight until the end for the top spots. We’ll give everything to win and get a victory, which would be important.

He touched on his lack of goals this season with the Roman club.

I can do more. At SPAL I found the way to the goal more often and I want to do the same with Lazio.

Finally, Fares spoke about his improvements since signing for the Biancocelesti.

I’ve certainly improved from a technical and tactical point of view. Physically I feel very good, so I hope to help the team at my best.

The 25-year-old Fares has made 23 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1310 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist.
