Ex-Defender Adani: “Lazio’s Correa Shifts the Balance in the Race for a Top 4 Finish”

Former Inter defender Gabriele Adani noted the importance of Lazio forward Joaquin Correa in this season’s race for a top four finish.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) last night, the 46-year-old Italian commented on yesterday’s 3-0 win for the Biancocelesti against the Rossoneri.

Correa shifts the balance in the fight for the Champions League. If he scores 18 goals, Lazio will be fighting for the Scudetto, the other three are already at full strength but if he comes in there’s trouble for everyone.

Milan sometimes seems a bit off mentally, stationary. These are mistakes they didn’t make early on in the season; 5-6 times they were caught out of position.

Tomori is making mistakes, often. I didn’t need to see him at AC Milan to know he was good, but he made mistakes on Destro’s goals, Raspadori’s and tonight’s goals too.

The Biancocelesti’s next league clash is against Genoa on Sunday.
