Former Lazio and AC Milan full-back Giuseppe Pancaro thought that the Biancocelesti deserved their 3-0 win yesterday.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio Radio (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 49-year-old Italian looked back to yesterday’s meeting between the Biancocelesti and the Rossoneri.

Lazio played better and deserved to win. They’ve shown that they’re on the ball more than Milan in this final rush and the Rossoneri have to do something to avoid throwing the season away.

He then touched on his own journey as a coach, most recently at Serie C side Pistoiese.

Everyone has their own path, many factors count, luck too, but I’ll put it last.

Finally, Pancaro spoke about the coaching careers of Simone Inzaghi and Napoli’s Gennaro Gattuso.

I’m happy for their journey, they’re friends. I’m not getting discouraged and I continue to do this job with dedication and commitment.
