Lazio bounced back from its Serie A loss to Napoli with a much-needed 3-0 win against AC Milan. Joaquin Correa and Ciro Immobile carried Lazio thanks to their three goals combined in the match.

Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi is much of a fan of how his side responded to the recent loss against Napoli. For Inzaghi, the Italian manager viewed this fixture as a must-win one.

Inzaghi spoke further to Lazio Style Radio (via Cittaceleste) about his takeaways from this win along with his feelings about being back on the sidelines following his coronavirus quarantine period.

We were very good, a game of quality and substance. For us, it was a final. This team has it in its DNA. We’re trailing by a few points, but we’ll try until the very end with all our might.

When I returned to Formello it was a great emotion. It’s been 18 endless days, watching the game from home had never happened to me before. The lads gave me great joy.

Lazio now trail fourth-place Juventus by a mere five points in the league standings.
