Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi gave his appreciation to Joaquin Correa following his performance against AC Milan.

Correa led the way for Lazio in its statement 3-0 league home win against AC Milan. The Argentine striker finished off Milan by scoring two goals in the match, which was the first league double of the season for him.

Inzaghi was well satisfied to see Correa on the scoresheet for this match, especially in a fixture that many labelled as a must-win one for the Biancocelesti. Inzaghi spoke further after the match (via Lazio’s official website) on the overall showing from Correa against AC Milan.

Correa is a formidable player. He is very intelligent tactically; he sacrifices a lot for the team.

I am happy with his brace. When he has no problems and can train continuously, he always proves to be able to play at the highest levels.

Correa is currently in top form with four-goal contributions in Lazio’s last four matches, which has been much needed for a Biancocelesti that looked for a spark in its attack.
