Lazio midfielder Lucas Leiva had one performance to forget in the team’s recent Serie A fixture against Napoli. Leiva was not much of a factor in helping Lazio maintain position and often had struggles in halting Napoli’s quick transition sequences.
Leiva did manage to put together a bounce-back performance in Lazio’s massive 3-0 Serie A win against AC Milan.
In the match, the Brazilian midfielder was not a player that the team often relied upon when in possession. However, Leiva did have his way in helping the side win back the ball over the course of the fixture due to his eight tackles won and four interceptions completed.
Leiva also went on to record eight ground duels won in the match, which led all Lazio midfielders.
Leiva surely needed such a comeback performance as Lazio still remains a contender to possibly finish the season among one of the top four teams in the Serie A table.
