Lazio Striker Immobile: “AC Milan’s Donnarumma Made Some Good Saves On Monday”

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was impressed with AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s saves in the 3-0 win on Monday evening.

Speaking to his fans on Twitch.tv (via Cittaceleste.it) yesterday evening, the 31-year-old Italian first spoke about if his son Mattia will become a footballer.

I don’t know if Mattia will be a footballer. As soon as he grows up and can speak, we’ll ask him. But for the moment he can only say a few words.

The former Torino man commented on the frustration of hitting the woodwork.

You shouldn’t even mention them to me! Don’t be like Jessica who, every time I go to training camp, greets me by saying I mustn’t hit the woodwork.

If I couldn’t score yesterday against the Rossoneri, it’s because I wanted to shoot accurately.

Finally, Immobile also spoke highly of Donnarumma.

But I must also say that Donnarumma made some good saves. Especially on that shot of mine.

I’m impressed that a goalkeeper as tall and strong as Donnarumma is so good at low saves.
