Former Lazio goalkeeper Marco Ballotta detailed whether the Biancocelesti could finish off the Serie A campaign in the top four of the standings.

Lazio’s campaign has been a rollercoaster one as of late. But amid the ups and downs in league play over the past month, Lazio still remains among the serious contenders to possibly finish out the season in the top four of the league table.

Ballotta does not see Lazio as one of the overwhelming favorites for this possible feat, but as he detailed further to the Italian-based outlet TuttoMercatoWeb (via Cittaceleste), the Biancocelesti still should not be counted out.

The others in the race are not all doing to well and it’s a good battle. Those who are in better shape physically and mentally will go to the Champions League; I see Atalanta and Napoli as the favorites. Then Juve, Milan and Lazio will be in the running…

The Biancocelesti should not have the ups and downs they had a while ago. Immobile has also been found after a series of games without a goal, even if he wasn’t in a crisis because he always worked hard.

Lazio will now look ahead to an upcoming pivotal league clash with Genoa.
