Czech Billionaire May Offer Tor di Valle Land to Lazio President Claudio Lotito

Czech real estate magnate Radovan Vitek may offer the Tor di Valle land to Lazio president Claudio Lotito, where a new stadium for the Biancocelesti could be built.

According to a report from Italian newspaper L’Espresso (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, Vitek, who purchased the Tor di Valle Racecourse alongside Parsitalia, could offer the land to Lotito as the Biancocelesti president looks for an area to build a new stadium.

The Hippodrome of Tor di Valle was closed in 2013, with Roma originally agreeing to use the land for their own stadium project. However, this never materialized and Vitek still wants to give new life to the land.

Vitek’s offer could be reasonable for Lotito, given the Lazio president’s grand plans for a new stadium.

Lotito’s initial intentions were to build the stadium in the Val Tiberina area, but the poor public transport links make it difficult, and so the Tor di Valle land may be more attractive.
