Lazio’s 4-3 win over Genoa yesterday was their 11th consecutive home victory, a new club record for the Biancocelesti.
According to a Tweet from Italian stats provider OptaPaolo yesterday, the Roman club have won 11 home games in a row for the first time in the club’s history, showing the team’s incredible form currently under coach Simone Inzaghi.

The last home game that Lazio lost this season was against Ivan Juric’s Hellas Verona on the 12th December, a disappointing 2-1 defeat which could prove key as the Biancocelesti look for a top four finish this campaign.

Lazio have two more home games scheduled for this season; They’ll face Parma on the 12th May, before playing Torino on the 18th. Therefore, Inzaghi’s side could increase their record to 13 consecutive home wins before the end of the season.
The Roman club cannot afford to drop any more points this season if they want to achieve a top four finish and qualification to next season’s Champions League.
