Lazio Forward Correa’s Trainer: “He Wanted to Be His Best For the Top 4 Race”

Lazio forward Joaquin Correa’s personal athletic trainer Pablo Dip highlighted the Argentinian’s desire to help the team qualify for the Champions League.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, Dip spoke about his work with the 26-year-old Biancocelesti forward.

He always remained focused and never stopped working for the team. He wanted to be at his best in the final part of the season to achieve qualification to the Champions League.

We see each other 2 or 3 times a week, depending on Lazio’s commitments. We try to stimulate all aspects, but mainly we focus on injury prevention and explosive power, one of his best qualities.

Dip then commented on the condition of Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe.

He’s much better, he’s a guy with the right head and a strong personality.

The 26-year-old Correa, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2024, has made 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2531 minutes.

In that time, he has scored 11 goals and provided six assists, having recently scored a brace in each of the last two wins against AC Milan and Genoa.
