Lazio wing back Mohamed Fares is suspended for Saturday evening’s match against Fiorentina.
As announced in a statement by Lega Serie A earlier today, the 25-year-old Algerian wing-back will be forced to miss the upcoming match against the Viola after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in Sunday’s 4-3 win over Genoa.

It is likely that Fares will be replaced in the starting 11 by club captain Senad Lulic.
Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva also picked up a yellow card in that win, and so has now joined the list of Biancocelesti players who risk suspension should they pick up another booking.
