Lazio defender Luiz Felipe completed the entirety of today’s work in Formello with the squad, including the training match at the end.
According to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 24-year-old Brazilian defender’s recovery is coming along well and he completed today’s practice match at the end of training; the first time since carrying out ankle surgery back in January.

Luiz Felipe’s return to the squad is drawing closer and closer, and he may still be included in the squad list for Saturday’s match against Fiorentina, with Mateo Musacchio likely to be cut to make room.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was rested for the second day in a row, and Felipe Caicedo is still struggling with plantar fasciitis, training separately today. Gonzalo Escalante also trained separately today with the ball at his feet, with his return also nearing.
The wing-backs against the Viola will be Senad Lulic on the left and Adam Marusic on the right, with Francesco Acerbi slotting into the back three after returning from suspension.
