Former Italian Forward Baiano Details the Importance of Joaquin Correa to Lazio This Season

Former Italian forward Francesco Baiano detailed on just how Lazio forward Joaquin Correa has managed to find success with the team this season.

Correa is so far having arguably the most efficient campaign of his Lazio career so far. This can much be credited to his promising play as of late, which has included back-to-back Serie A doubles against both AC Milan and Genoa.

Baiano sees that Correa’s play has complemented Lazio just well over the ongoing campaign. Baino discussed further about Correa’s recent top form to the Italian-based outlet Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).

Lazio’s attack is extraordinary. Correa is a player who comes on and goes off in the same game, but he is one who makes a difference. If he finds some continuity, he could really be a top player.

However, I think that for his qualities, he is a really important player. He is, however, one of the classic players for whom you say that if he does not score at least 15 goals per season, he is a failure. I think Correa can make the difference and if he doesn’t, it’s not a problem for the team, but a problem of his own.

Correa stands two goals away from a notable 10-goal league campaign.
