Lazio are hoping that Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe will be fully fit to face Roma in the derby in 9 days’ time.
According to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, Biancocelesti coach Simone Inzaghi will have to decide whether or not to include the 24-year-old Luiz Felipe in the squad for Saturday evening’s match against Fiorentina, or to wait for next week’s match against Parma.

The 24-year-old Brazilian defender had only done warm-ups and tactical exercises up until Tuesday, but yesterday he trained alongside his teammates for the entire session, including the final training match.

Mateo Musacchio is expected to be taken off the registered squad list in place of Luiz Felipe, but for now, it’s unclear when Inzaghi plans to make this change.
Lazio want Luiz Felipe to be fully fit for the Derby della Capitale against Roma on the 15th May, in 9 days’ time.
