Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi previewed the Italian national team’s chances of possibly winning the upcoming Euro 2020 tournament.
Italy comes into Euro 2020 with much to prove as it will be looking to claim a major tournament win for the second time in this century. The likes of Acerbi along with multiple Italian national team veterans will be aiming to pull off what many may consider as a possible underdog run to triumph in this tournament.

Acerbi is well confident that his side will enjoy success in the upcoming Euro 2020, which he spoke further about during his talk with the Italian-based outlet Sky Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).

Acerbi is expected to be among the players that Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini will end up picking for his Euro 2020 squad list. If Acerbi ends up being included in the squad list, the long-time Serie A defender will surely look to prove his worth to the team’s coaching staff.
