Lazio finds itself in a battle for a UEFA Champions League spot in Serie A, but despite focusing on this tight race, the Biancocelesti does have an eye for next season and the additions it wants to make. 

One area that Simone Inzaghi wants to strengthen on the squad is in the midfield, and the Italian side could be targeting one player from the Premier League. 

According to TuttoSport (via Lazio News), the Rome-based club is interested in Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge, who they’ve targeted in the past when the Norway international was at KRC Genk.

With Sheffield United heading to the EFL Championship, plenty of clubs are circling players that might not want to go down to the second division of English football. 

Despite the interest from Lazio, they’re not alone; AC Milan are also eyeing the 23-year-old and are reportedly ready to offer €10 million. Then there are other English clubs seeking to grab the player, as Sky Sports reports that Everton and Arsenal could look to bolster their midfield with the addition of Berge.
