The Lazio women’s squad has had an ordeal in their quest to secure promotion into Serie A.
In February, the team saw a coaching change when they dismissed Ashraf Seleman and hired Carolina Morace as their new manager, with wife Nicola Jane Williams as her assistant.
A few months later, the decision to bring in Morace has paid off as Lazio is heading to Serie A.
The club’s Twitter account shared the final whistle and reaction to the coaching staff and players when it became clear that they had clinched promotion.
