Lazio Women have achieved promotion to Serie A after their 2-1 derby win over Roma Calcio Femminile yesterday.
As reported on Lazio’s official website earlier today, coach Carolina Morace’s side earned a vital three points in yesterday’s win over the Giallorossi, confirming their promotion to Serie A after 24 games.

The Biancocelesti currently sit second in Serie B Women after 24 games played and with only two games left to play, they’re hoping to finish the season at the top. The Roman club are only two points behind league leaders Pomigliano.

Lazio Women’s goal at the start of the season was clear, to achieve promotion to the topflight, and now it has been achieved, with only one defeat occurring all season. This loss was a 1-0 defeat to Ravenna Women at the end of January.
Morace’s side had a strong campaign overall, achieving 12 wins and 11 draws; Lazio Women also had the best attack with 59 goals scored and the best defense, having only conceded 20 times.
