Lazio Women Coach Morace: “We Deservedly Won Promotion to Serie A, I’m Proud”

Lazio Women coach Carolina Morace was proud to have achieved promotion to Serie A with the Biancocelesti.

Speaking in an interview reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 57-year-old Italian first discussed the excitement of achieving promotion.

We deservedly won promotion. Everything was exciting and moving, it’s a pity we didn’t celebrate in a full stadium.

Morace highlighted her joy at working with president Claudio Lotito.

President Lotito is a winner like me, he asked us to try to make our way first.

The former AC Milan Women coach has increased the squad’s training sessions from three times a week to five in order to prepare them for Serie A.

I’m proud of the girls, I have created a great relationship with them that have thanked me for bringing them to the levels to which they have always aspired.

Finally, Morace looked ahead to their opponents in Serie A.

We will face teams that have been training for years at a high pace.

We’ll have to grow not only from an economic point of view, but also by relying on a structure like the one in Formello, an excellent calling card for those who want to win.
