Lazio Veterans Parolo & Lulic to Play Their Final Derby Against Roma This Weekend

Lazio veterans Marco Parolo and Senad Lulic are set to play their final Derby della Capitale against Roma on Saturday.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 36-year-old Italian midfielder’s contract expires with the Biancocelesti at the end of the season and a renewal has not been discussed with the club yet.

Parolo would gladly play another season with Lazio but only if he’s not a burden on the squad. If he doesn’t renew his contract, then it’s likely that the Italian will retire as he’s already enrolled in the coaching course at Coverciano.

Regarding Senad Lulic, the Bosnian’s time in Rome is set to come to an end this summer after 10 years as his contract is also expiring, although he could still be offered a one-year renewal.

Should he leave Lazio in the coming months, then Lulic is set to continue playing for a club in Switzerland.
