Simone Inzaghi’s future continues to be a talking point as some would’ve expected Lazio and their manager to have a new contract extension by now as the 2020-21 season nears its end.
However, both parties have yet to reach an agreement. The Biancocelesti need to sort out this issue with their manager before looking for ways to improve the squad next season.
Before their match against AS Roma, Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare took to the microphone with DAZN (via Lazio News). One question that the club chief answered is over the future of Inzaghi.
Although they’re still discussing a deal, Tare remains hopeful that the club can secure a new contract with Inzaghi.

It will be interesting to see what Lazio does as they stumble towards the end of the season as they let their UEFA Champions League aspirations slip away. Inzaghi and his squad dropped points against ACF Fiorentina and AS Roma, with both clubs below Lazio in the standings.
The Italian tactician could have a potential offer from the Premier League as Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly shown interest in Inzaghi. Perhaps the Lazio manager could leverage this interest on Lazio for a better deal from the Rome-based club.
