Lazio’s Claudio Lotito Continues Talks with Czech Real Estate Magnate over Tor Di Valle Land

Last week, reports surfaced that Czech real estate magnate Radovan Vitek had talks with Lazio owner and president Claudio Lotito over Tor di Valle land that Vitek was willing to offer

The Biancocelesti are looking to build a new stadium on this piece of land, and it appears as though both sides continue to talk about the matter. Vitek had been in discussions with AS Roma, closing on a deal in 2013, but nothing ever materialized.

According to La Repubblica (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the rumours of these talks are very much real as discussions between the two businessmen remain ongoing. The report states that talks are intense as they hope to reach an agreement.

Vitek is looking for someone to purchase the land, and Lotito does have an interest as he wants to provide a new stadium for his supporters.

However, talks can’t proceed as there are upcoming elections, so Lotito might have to also talk with political figures if he wants to secure a stadium with 40,000 seats.
