After nearing halftime scoreless, AS Roma opened the scoring, on what appeared to be bad defending from Francesco Acerbi.
Edin Džeko would get by the 33-year-old and would place a cross that would find Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who put the ball in the back of the net. It’s a bittersweet goal to concede so close to halftime.
Roma’s goal would also be the squad’s first shot on target; they’ve only been able to get off three total shots.
