Former Lazio manager Delio Rossi details whether Simone Inzaghi will go on to manage the Biancocelesti next season.

Inzaghi is set to be without a contract this summer, and it is not yet known whether he will go on to remain with the Biancocelesti. Plenty of rumors and reports have circulated as of late that Inzaghi will go on to sign off a new deal but still, this has not yet come to fruition.
As many Rossi is unsure on just who will be Lazio’s manager next season. The former Italian manager discussed this ongoing matter during his talk with Cittaceleste TV.
I don’t know what I would do if I were him. All I can say is that if I had to make a rational choice, I would leave at this point. Simone [Inzaghi] knows what kind of work he has done, and he knows how difficult it will be to repeat himself.
Paradoxically, another Champions League entry would mean relatively little. Based on these things, he will make his decisions. In these situations, you weigh the pros and cons. It will not be easy to do better than what he has done. Sooner or later it will be necessary to compare oneself with other leagues, trying out different clubs. This is necessary to grow.
Lazio will be playing in next season’s Europa League competition after failing to clinch a top-four spot in Serie A. While they impressed at certain times, they dropped too many points in the first half of the season which eventually came back to haunt them.
