Considering the disappointing performances of Wesley Hoedt and Mateo Musacchio this season, it’s clear that Lazio need to sign a new defender in the summer, giving more options to coach Simone Inzaghi.

The 32-year-old D’Ambrosio has made 23 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 908 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and helped the side keep eight clean sheets.
