Six Lazio Players Risk Missing Clash Against Sassuolo Due to Yellow Cards

Six Lazio players are at risk of missing Sunday’s match against Sassuolo due to suspension.

As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, six Biancocelesti players would miss the final match of the season against the Neroverdi should they pick up a yellow card in tomorrow’s match against Torino.

The players at risk of suspension are Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Danilo Cataldi, Luis Alberto, Luiz Felipe, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marco Parolo.

Simone Inzaghi’s side will face the Granata tomorrow evening in a rescheduled match after the game was postponed earlier this year due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Torino squad.

With the Biancocelesti’s loss to rivals Roma on Saturday, a top-four finish is impossible, meaning that the Roman club will now play in the Europa League next campaign.

Defender Francesco Acerbi will be absent for the final two games of the season after suffering a muscle injury in the aftermath of the loss to the Giallorossi.
